With nearly 40 years’ experience in the industry, Calorex is well-placed to advise on all aspects of heat pump and demudification installation and maintenance within the pool sector.
The training sessions are taken by members of Calorex’s fully-qualified service team at the specialist manufacturing facility in Maldon, Essex. Lasting for four to five hours, each session covers operation and functionality as well as the dos and don’ts of installing a Calorex unit.
Product specific training is provided on the Delta 1-16, Variheat III, Pro-Pac 8-22 and Vaporex models. The trainees also benefit from a tour of the Calorex factory, to see how the products are designed and constructed.
Service manager Adrian Broome recently held a training session for eight members of the Spruce Pools team, based in Salisbury. The team left the session with a better understanding of the Calorex product range for a variety of applications.
“The whole day was excellent and very informative. Adrian is very knowledgeable and was happy to answer any questions we had on the day,” commented John Fay, service manager at Spruce Pools.
“The most interesting part for me the demonstration of the machines. Adrian gave a full breakdown of how the machine works, how it should be set up and what to look for if problems arise.”
When asked if he would recommend the training to other pool companies, John replied: “Yes, absolutely. Calorex is continually improving its products and with this training we get the opportunity to see this for ourselves before installing on site.”
Going forward, Calorex plans to further expand its training programme by offering ground source heat pump sessions.
