Dantherm Group is delighted that its range of Calorex Pro-Pac hot water heat pumps are recognised under the BCA Green Mark scheme.
The complete range of Pro-Pac units are registered with a two tick pass that recognises the equipment as “very good”.
As well as independently verifying performance claims, BCA Green Mark also gives client assurance that the units are produced within an audited quality management system and that every care is taken both socially and environmentally during the manufacturing process. During the auditing process, two live Singapore hotel sites were performance monitored for efficiency and thermal output, which verified and proved the industry leading performance of Calorex Pro-Pac units.
Zoe International, Calorex’s Singapore distributor, commented: “This was a very important part of the process for Calorex products, as we recognise the need for robust data to demonstrate real life system efficiencies – data which is rarely available, especially in specific climatic zones such as Singapore.”
Calorex Pro-Pac hot water heat pumps are the only range of machines to have received this accreditation, a claim we are very proud of.
They are also registered with BSI, who have certified the equipment for performance and quality manufactured standards.
Calorex Pro-Pac hot water heat pumps are manufactured in the UK. The factory is registered with ISO 9001 and carries the MCS (Micro generation certification scheme) logo.
The BCA Green Mark Scheme was launched in January 2005 as an initiative to drive Singapore’s construction industry towards more environment-friendly buildings. It is intended to promote sustainability in the built environment and raise environmental awareness among developers, designers and builders when they start project conceptualisation and design, as well as during construction.
