Dantherm Group has hired Casper Andersen as new CEO. The present CEO, Torben Duer, will enter into a new role as Executive Chairman of the Board with responsibility for acquisitions and development of new business areas.
Casper Andersen will join Dantherm Group as new President and CEO. Casper is 50 years old and has a degree in engineering from Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and an MBA from Copenhagen Business School. Casper has more than 20 years’ experience from sales, service, engineering and manufacturing from Alfa Laval in Denmark and Germany; latest as Cluster President of Alfa Laval Northern Europe.
Casper Andersen’s main task together with the management group is to continue the positive development of Dantherm Group focusing on organic growth, integration of the 14 companies in the group and continued optimization of product development and production across the group.
Torben Duer will change his position as CEO for a new role, as he joins the Board of Dantherm Holding A/S as Executive Chairman. Torben Duer will be responsible for a number of strategic projects including acquisitions and development of new business areas.
With the new management composition, Dantherm Group further strengthens its efforts with the many opportunities that exist in the continued development of the business in current and new markets and through further acquisitions.
Dantherm was acquired by the Swedish private equity fund Procuritas PCI V in January 2016. In the last three years Dantherm’s revenue has tripled to around 1 billion DKK by organic growth and acquisitions, and today Dantherm Group has around 600 employees in 14 companies in Europe and China.
