Following a period of close strategic partnership, on 1 June 2017, Dantherm officially acquired the activities in Water Surveillance.
Water Surveillance is located in Sorø, Denmark and is a privately owned company that was established in November 2013 with investment capital from CAPNOVA and Accelerace. Water Surveillance is an ‘Internet of things’ company that focuses on optimising its customers’ operating earnings by wirelessly collecting essential data within the area of damage services, and making this data available online in real time on assorted user interfaces. By doing so, significant advantages can be reaped thanks to the faster and more efficient repair of moisture and water damage, in combination with Dantherm’s mobile dehumidifiers.
“There is a rising demand in the market for remote monitoring, and we see our acquisition of Water Surveillance as a unique opportunity to offer our customers this service. By combining the technology from Water Surveillance with Dantherm’s wide product programme within the area of dehumidification, heating, cooling and ventilation, we will become an even stronger partner for our current and future customers,” states Torben Duer, Managing Director of the Dantherm Group A/S.
“With Dantherm as the new owner, our efforts of being able to help our customers in the damage service industry to reduce costs and increase operating efficiency will be significantly strengthened, both nationally and internationally,” says Henrik Sick Hansen, Managing Director of Water Surveillance ApS.
Water Surveillance will continue to operate as an independent company in the Dantherm Group, and to work on expanding remote monitoring (IOT solutions) to other relevant industries.
